Thank you for your interest in doing a team build with The Wheel Works! We pride ourselves on teaching skills to carry forward into your clay journey. You will have the opportunity to learn from some amazing ceramic artists with many years of experience to create your own work of art. We are here to help you achieve your goals!

Please note that team builds are for 6+ people only.

A fun and rewarding experience to spend with friends, family, and coworkers. A ceramic artist will lead you through a project to help create a lasting item for your home.

You can choose from the project list below or if you already have an idea in mind contact us directly to discuss your original idea or project. Past group builds include:

- Coil/puzzle bowls (make great centerpieces for home!)

- Slab built vase

- Try it on the wheel! (4 - 5 balls of clay and an instructor to help make your first thrown vessel on the wheel) up to 12 people only.

- Cat/dog dishes to be donated to your favorite animal rescue

- Holiday themed project (lanterns, Christmas trees, ornaments)

- Sweater mugs

- Pinch pot mugs or flower pots

Each project takes about 45 min - 1 hour to complete. Items are then trimmed (if needed), fired, and glazed to colors previously chosen. Leave the mess with us, we do all clean up afterwards. Projects take 2 - 3 weeks for us to complete.

For groups of 6 - 8 people: $42/per person (no delivery available for small groups)

For groups of 9 - 25 people: $65/per person (2 instructors included)

Add ons: take home aprons, handmade wine cup or mug from Thompson Wheel Works, tiles, ring dishes etc. - please contact for pricing

Team builds (8 - 25 people) must be booked 3 weeks in advance. The following times are available for groups larger than 8 people: 

- Mondays 2 pm - 5pm

- Wednesdays 12 noon - 4pm

- Thursdays 2 pm - 5 pm

- Saturdays 12 noon - 8 pm

- Sundays 3 pm - 7 pm
